On October 26th, 2008 at the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s station, deputies
hosted a big party for kids and parents in costume. The annual Haunted Jailhouse
carnival played up all of the Sheriff’s Department team members and gadgets.
Kids were allowed to rappel with Search and Rescue unit members, climb aboard
the Special Weapons and Tactic’s armored vehicle and check out a Mounted Posse
horse.

 

 A costume contest gave the young participants a chance to
show their stuff, and in between, the audience was entertained by the dancers
