“Standup Guys: A Family Comedy Show” benefits Veterans in the SCV Habitat for Heroes Program.  This belly laugh event will feature comedians Robert G. Lee, Kenn Kington and Daren Streblow.  Combining side splitting laughter, life changing content, advocacy and fundraising, the Standup Guys are coming to our Hometown.

This event will help fund the renovation of American Legion Post 507 in Newhall.

Honoring our heroes, this is what this event is all about, and here they are, just a narrow view of the room, standing and receiving a warm welcome by the audience.

Comedian Robert G. Lee, Hollywood’s top warm-up comic and good friend of Mizrahi’s, is first to “stand up”.

Kenn Kington is demostrating the stages on men, according to the height of their waist line. Very funny, very true!

Bob Smiley impressed the audience not only with his good gags, but with his natural hilarious presence. “By the way, this is my real voice” he admitted!

Comedian Robert G. Lee welcoming Veteran Renard Thomas, in giving the audience just a glimpse into a veteran’s story, upon their arrival back home. Some veterans, as seen in a video presented overhead, may be injured and unable to work or even perform everyday tasks around the house. Thomas, ‘Veteran Affairs’ Certifying Official at College of the Canyons, First Lieutenant Active California National Guard with 15 years combined Active Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard duty, shone some light on the importance of Habitat for Heroes’ mission in SCV.

The night ended with the chance of meeting the actors, purchasing their acclaimed clean-comedy CD’s, and of course some time for a coffee.
