More than half a dozen Stay Green Inc. managers and executives will plant donated trees at AngelDogs Foundation Deaf Dog Ranch in Acton on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The generous donation will provide shelter and comfort to the rescue’s dogs, according to Stay Green president and chief executive officer Chris Angelo.
“With this recession, non-profits are very limited in funding, so it was a natural for us to help AngelDogs Foundation Deaf Dog Ranch. What we’re hoping to accomplish is to provide shade in the summer and protection from wind and rain in the winter for these dogs,” Angelo said. “We have a sensitive heart for good causes. There were no lack of volunteers to help with this project, we had to turn people away.”
Stay Green Inc. has been doing business in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1973 and currently employs more than 300 people.
