On Thursday, September 11th, 2008, KHTS AM-1220 welcomed Assemblyman Cameron Smyth on the air for Stump the Politician.

The program charges elementary school students with the task of coming up with questions designed to “stump” Assemblyman Smyth. Sometimes the questions are political and other times they are more introspective, offering a glimpse into why Assemblyman Smyth does what he does, and how he makes his decisions.

Featured here are children from Santa Clarita's newest elementary school, Golden Oak Community School in Canyon Country. The program is presented by the Southern California Gas Company.
