More than 350 people attended the annual SCV Boys and Girl’s Club Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday evening November 22 at the Canyon Country/Sierra Vista facility, benefiting Club families and families from Single Mother’s Outreach.

Boys and Girls Club Senior Professional Officer Jim Ventress said everyone involved was overwhelmed by the generosity of their community.

“Thanks to the Valencia Auto Dealers Association, headed by Don and Cheri Fleming, Salt Creek Grille and the Boys and Girls Club board members who showed up to serve their families,” he said.

“Also, thanks to Carl and Jeri Goldman and KHTS radio, Jeff Hacker, Joe Messina, Alex Urbina/Teen leadership and the Facey Medical Group who provided more than 70 turkeys and gift baskets for the families as they left the event. Special thanks also to the club staff, Keystone club members and Leaders in Training teens.”
