The Gazette Radio Hour– Friday August 16, 2013

Once again, the Gazette Radio Hour brought a firestorm of entertainment and local news updates during their live show. However, Doug threw a little wrench in the mix this week by not showing up. He abandoned John to run the helm by himself, while he jettisoned to a campsite with his family and enjoy a little well earned R&R from managing the tight ship that is the Gazette Free Classifieds. So in his absence, John brought on his friend (and now colleague) Drew. Drew used to be known as Unemployed Drew, but fortunately cannot be called that anymore! Drew recently just landed a savory position as Wyotech College. John brought him on to replace Doug as a partial congratulatory present, but also to give Drew the opportunity to share his perspective on obtaining a job in his cutthroat jobmarket. Next, the Gazette Radio Hour interviewed a sleuth of wild and active community members. For example, they brought Miss Classifieds, AKA Barbara, who has the 411 on all the best deals and steals in the local Gazette. In addition to that, The Gazette gang brought Tim Haddock who is the single most knowledge person for information on local sports, here in the Santa Clarita Valley. A local resident, Tim went to Hart High, and now gives his word of advice on foreshadowing and even commentating baseball here and around the nation.
