Good morning KHTS listeners.
Hi, my name is Daniel Deegan and I attend Meadows Elementary School in the Newhall School District. I’ll be reviewing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, written by C.S. Lewis. It was written in the year 1950, and it is 189 pages long.
This book is about Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan Pevense. These children are magically transported into a land called Narnia, falsely ruled by a witch with the power to turn living things to stone. Narnia is also inhabited by talking animals and mythical creatures such as centaurs. The Pevenses join forces with the legendary lion, Aslan, and wage a huge battle with the Witch’s forces. Through heroic deeds, the witch is defeated and peace is returned to Narnia.
I liked this book because there is a lot of action. I’d recommend this book to anyone that likes adventure, excitement, or mythical creatures.
