The Master’s College women’s soccer team kept its unbeaten streak alive with a 1-0 shutout over Hope International.
Robyn Estrada scored the lone goal in the game in the 86th minute. Alissa Adkins assisted on the goal. Amanda Diamond made two saves and faced five shots.
The Master’s College women, the fifth-ranked team in the NAIA, are 11-0-1 and 4-0 in Golden State Athletic Conference play.
In high school golf, the Hart girls team won the fourth Foothill League match of the season, shooting 209 as a team at the Woodley Lakes Golf Course in Van Nuys.
Hart’s Jamie Corr led all golfers with a 1-over par, 38.
Four Hart girls took the top four spots in the match. Brenna Carlson shot a 2-over par, 39, Nikki Prichard was 4-over par, at 41, and Amanda Corr was 7-over par, at 45.
Saugus was second in the match, with a team score of 240. West Ranch was third at 256.
The Hart, West Ranch and Valencia girls golf teams will be in action again today at the DeBell Tournament in Burbank.
West Ranch senior JJ Holen has decided to play golf next year at Long Beach State, The Signal is reporting.
Holen is the No. 46 golfer in the Junior Golf Association’s Golf Rankings. He has reached the CIF/SCGA Southern California Golf Championships in each of the past three seasons.
The boys golf season, the last one of Holen’s high school career, begins in the spring.

Halladay pitched the first no-hitter in the playoffs since Don Larsen threw a perfect game for the Yankees in the 1956 World Series.
Halladay walked only one batter, struck out eight and gave the Phillies a 1-0 lead in the National League Division Series.
The Texas Rangers won their first playoff game in franchise history, 5-1, over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 of the American League Division Series. Rangers starter Cliff Lee struck out 10 in seven innings and gave up one run on five hits.
Bengie Molina was 3-for-4 with a home run and drove in two runs for the Rangers.
The New York Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins, 6-4, in Game 1 of their American Leeague Division Series. Mark Texeira hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning to break a 4-4 tie.
