            I am back!  Welcome to the Real Side, not the right side, not the wrong side, but the Real side.  I am your host Joe Messina right here on your Home Town Station, AM1220 KHTS.  I was not here yesterday.  There is a lot going on in the news, this killer running around.  API had even reported at one point that he was shot or captured.  This sort of stuff makes me nervous because this e-reporting, people are saying whatever they want. 

            I have a treat for you this Friday, on this faith Friday, but I am not going to tell you what it is.  And it has nothing to do with the Pope resigning.  Have you been fallowing this story?  No Pope has resigned in over 600 years.  But is there some sinister reason behind this?  Or, can we just give an old sick man the benefit of the doubt.  Maybe he just wants out.  I do not think we need to dig into this any further. 

            We need to talk about the changing viewpoint of youth in this country about abortion.

            So Jason, Valentines day is coming up.  And you are going to get married soon.  So is Valentines day a big thing for you?  Well, she is going to school, and the holiday is on a Thursday.  Also I will be out of town this weekend, so we celebrated it on Sunday, this past weekend. 

On today’s show we will be talking about mysterious disappearances with Rick Backer.

Rick’s life path has taken him all the way from senior pastor through professional golf and now to that of polemic author.  His most recent book, ‘The Tears of a Father,’ details his experience with the underbelly of the family law system in all its variations; from being jailed as a result of false allegations by the mother, to his challenges and failures a long distance dad relationship.  Rick is the Founder and Director for Once Dad Always Dad International, a non-profit ministry to divorced and unwed fathers who are battling family court through custody injustice or false charges aimed at removing the father from the lives of his children.
