The Real Side with Joe Messina. Monday – Friday from 2-3pm. Cutting through the political spin with real facts, real talk and real issues. It’s not the right side, not the wrong side, it’s The Real Side.

The Real Side – March 28, 2013

First up: Joe’s consternation about a school in New Hampshire that has banned dodgeball because it promotes bullying. The school district’s board banned the game and other “human target activities.” A parent complained that their middle-school child was being bullied, and thus the ban was enacted, to remove games where children are targets. Joe believes this is overblown, and that what the school board calls bullying is merely playful sportsmanship.

Joe’s guest on The Real Side today is Larry Greenfield, Senior fellow of the American Freedom Alliance and fellow at the Claremont Institute has a lot to say about President Obama’s visit to Israel, the Middle East going forward, and US foreign policy. |

Larry Greenfield is the new Executive Director for the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA.) He is a noted expert on U.S. foreign policy and the U.S.-Israel strategic relationship. Greenfield served as a reservist in U.S. Naval Intelligence and was the founding Executive Director of the non-profit Reagan Legacy Foundation. He earned his BA at UC Berkeley and a law degree at Georgetown University.Greenfield’s background in Jewish life includes serving as a Wexner Heritage Foundation Fellow, as a member of the National UJA Young Men’s Cabinet, as Vice President of the Jewish Community Foundation of L.A., and as a regional director for the Republican Jewish Coalition and for the Israel Cancer Research Fund.
