Good Morning KHTS listeners! My name is Emily Shochet and I am a fourth grader in Ms. Caskey’s class at Leona Cox Elementary School in the Sulphur Springs School District.
I will be reviewing “Thirty Tales to Give You Goosebumps,” written by R.L. Stein. This book was compiled in 2004 and is 391 pages long.
This book is actually three “Goosebumps” books combined that were originally written in 1994, 1995, and 1996. My favorite tale is called, “Mr. Teddy.” It’s about a girl that gets a new teddy bear to replace the old one she’s had since she was a baby.
This book is special to me because I got it on Easter and it is my first “Goosebumps” book.
Young readers would like this book because it is scary, exciting, and all the stories have very surprising endings. For example, you’ll never guess how “Mr. Teddy” ends. I’ll never tell you, you’ll just have to read “Thirty Tales to Give You Goosebumps” to find out.
