They broke down the strategies of reconstructing one’s personal account, repairing 401(k) mistakes, and more. Financial errors never happen at a convenient time or place, but they are a reality. In fact, financial mistakes can begin as early as childhood, and without proper guidance into producing money and value, those kids will continue to make poor decisions. For example, Arif is a proud proponent of not giving allowances to kids – and for good reason. He explained how giving an allowance is giving in to a mentality of ‘I exist, therefore, I deserve’ as opposed to ‘I produce, therefore I earn’. In addition to these drastically different mindsets, receiving an allowance increases the child’s dependence on the parent.

Next, Arif brought  up the issue of paying off debts. The cost of existing is different for everyone, and every family.
