Hour 1

This week host Arif Halaby is out so we have co-host Jeff Girard hosting todays show with Mark Murphy. Jeff begins the show talking about going into retirement and staying in retirement. Jeff and Mark begin talking about your savings. They get into the different ways you can save, you can do it the old fashioned way and save your money under your bed or a smarter way and put it into an IRA or a roth IRA. Jeff then brings up that having the right financial team to help you will take you a long way. Mark and Jeff also get into taking money out of your savings, you can take money out but you will “pay the piper” as Jeff and Mark say. There are penalties and you will pay huge in taxes but there is a way to avoid these penalties and taxes but you will need a financial team to help you accomplish this.

Hour 2

In the second hour Mark and Jeff continue to discuss savings and taking money out of your accounts. Mark begins to talk about educating yourself financially and at a young age. They also get into talking to your kids and having them have a basic knowledge about saving at a young age.
