Arif Halaby and Jeff Girard wanted to talk about ways to NOT out live your retirement on the program today but they first had a special guest on the show.  Arif dragged in Mike Santomauro from Help The Children into the studio to talk about an event on April 6 that Home Depot is doing in support of Help The Children and local veterans.

“What we are doing is bringing up 2 full semi-trucks of Home Depot products and we are going to hand out these products to military veteran families for free,” said Santomauro. “We are going to make it a special event to show our appreciation for the military keeping us safe.”

Arif and Jeff also talked about your families finance like they do every week.  They talk about the things you didn’t learn about in high school, didn’t learn about in college and at your job you are probably not learning about it there.

“It’s kind of like an allowance, your work pays you to exist, but at your job you need to perform well,” said Halaby. “But no one ever tells you what to do with the money you are paid.”
