On Saturday, October 18, 2008 KHTS broadcast live from the Vine At Castaic Shopping Center School Spirit Celebration. Located at Lake Hughes Road near Castaic Road, the shopping center offers Castaic residents an array of fantastic retail locations.

A variety of local groups took part in the School Spirit Celebration, as money was raised for the three Castaic School District Elementary Schools. Kids enjoyed the KHTS 1948 antique Mack Firetruck, on display and to climb aboard. A fun time was had by all!
