Kids just love Wallers’ Gym Jam Academy. Every Tuesday at 4:10pm, we feature some of the students from Wallers’ LIVE from the KHTS Community Resource Station.

September 4th, 2007 – Kailey Hansen (16) came by with Wallers’ Women’s Team Coach Mohini Bhardwaj. Mohini is a 2004 Olympic silver medalist in the women’s team gymnastics competition.

September 11, 2007 – We spoke with May Kubo (10) at the KHTS Community Resource Station. May has been competing in gymnastics for 2-years and appreciates the one on one instruction she gets at Wallers’ Gym Jam.

September 18, 2007, Katie McIntyre came by the KHTS Community Resource Station.  Katie, (13) is a Level 6 Gymnast who has come a long way in such a short time thanks to Wallers’ Gym Jam Academy. She is an awesome athlete who has come so far in such a short time. Katie recently won an ‘All Around’ Gymnastics Competition in her age group.

September 25, 2007, Chris Waller – Owner and Head Coach of Wallers’ Gym Jam Academy came by the KHTS Community Resource Station and was featured on our weekly Gym Jam radio segment.

December 4, 2007, we welcomed back Gym Jam student Kailey Hanson. This 16 year-old comes all the way from Ventura to attend Waller’s Academy. Kailey spent some time with KHTS at our Resource Station and spoke about the quality training she gets at Waller’s.

December 6, 2007, 12 year-old Kiara Nowlin was featured on our Walller’s GymJam Segment. Kiara competes in trampoline and tumbling and just came away from the World Age Group Championships with a gold medal. She trains right here in Santa Clarita at Wallers’ Academy.

December 13, 2007 Jennifer Taylor (11) spent part of her birthday at the KHTS Community Resource Station to tell us all about Wallers’ GymJam

December 18,2007. 14 year-old Danielle Doris of Los Angeles has been going to Wallers’ GymJam for 3 years and has been doing gymnastics for the past 12 years. She is a level-9 gymnast who loves to compete and wants to go to college.

December 20, 2007 Karl Ziehn from Wallers’ GymJam stopped by the KHTS Resource Station with his student Drake Nelson. Karl coaches the Boy’s gymnastics team at Wallers’. Drake (13) has been going to Wallers’ for over a year and competes with the boy’s team.

January 8, 2007, we featured Thomas Harris and Brian Waschak – both 9 Years-Old.  Thomas and Brian are members of Wallers’ Boy’s Gymnastics Team under Coach Karl Ziehn. They recently traveled to Bakersfield for their first competition of this season.

January 10, 2007 – We spoke to another member of Wallers’ Boy’s Gymnastics Team. Jae Kinney (9) moved to Santa Clarita four months ago from Ohio. He has been doing gymnastics for over three years and is happy that he found Wallers’ Academy.
January 17, 2008, 18 Year-Old Shavahn Church spoke with Mike Dowler at the KHTS Community Resource Station about her training at Wallers’ GymJam Academy. Shavahn is on the UCLA Women’s Gymnastic Team and trains at Wallers’ during the off-season. Gymnastics have been a huge part of Shavahn’s life for the past ten years. She has competed all over the world.
