Assemblyman Scott Wilk on Chloride Town hall meeting on June 15th…
“Myself and assemblyman Steve Fox will be holding a town hall meeting on Saturday June 15 at the Activity Center.” All the public hearings have been on weekday nights, so we have set up one on a weekend so people can come to it. There are members from multiple branches of our local government will be comming to testify. We are hoping that these public testimonies will help us come to a conclusion.

Wilk On Amendments to improve a student protection bill that was shot down…
Bill AB1221 was presented but killed because there was another version AB 1225, and this other bill was not real reform. We are teaming up with people who are committed to changing the laws and getting rid of bad teachers. We will be amending it and making it even tighter than it is now, making it harder for people not to vote for it.
Assembly Scott Wilk talks about Town hall meetings about health care change…
The Affordable Care Act comes out in 11/14 although the insurance exchange comes on october first of this year. Obviously it is a very complicated issue. I sit on the heath community, it is like a rubix cube piecing all of this together. I will have professionals sit down and have an hour lecture followed by a Q&A. I don’t have any finalised dates yet, but it will be towards the end of july.
