The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center will host a free recruitment event on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a variety of skilled labor positions available with a nationwide Industrial Contractor company. The event will be held at College of the Canyons in Suite 250 at the University Center, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road. 

The recruitment will provide information about employment opportunities with Matrix Service, a full-service Industrial Contractor.  Multiple skilled labor positions are immediately available, including: pipeline rig-welders, layout pipefitters, equipment operators, hydro crane operators, dirt operators, craft constructors helpers, laborers and fire watch.   

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, eligible to work in the United States, and have experience in oil fields, oil and gas terminals, oil refineries, and/or industrial construction.  

Job seekers are encouraged to dress to impress, have multiple copies of their resume, and bring a State ID such as Driver’s License, and Social Security Card or Passport to the recruitment. Onsite interviews, background checks, and drug screenings may be conducted for applicants who best meet the qualifications of the employer.
