The Valencia Vikings boy’s volleyball team clinched their eighth straight Foothill League Championship with a three game sweep of Saugus yesterday.  The Vikings remain undefeated in league play.  West Ranch swept Canyon in three games to improve to 6-2 in league play.

 

Valencia softball used a pair of homeruns by Jessica Spigner and Bethany Kemp to beat Golden Valley 3-1, keeping pace with the Hart Indians.  The Indians beat Canyon 4-0 as pitcher Destiny Rodino pitched a one-hitter.

 

Valencia boy’s tennis put a wrap on their undefeated league season with a 13-5 win over Golden Valley.  Canyon clinched the third playoff spot with a 14-4 win over Hart.

 

Two new Foothill League Track and Field Champions were crowned at the same meet yesterday.  Hart boy’s defeated Saugus to clinch their first league title since 2000.  The Centurions girl’s were able to beat the Indians to wrap up a Foothill League crown for Saugus.

 

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to Arizona 6-4 last night.  The three game series concludes with the rubber match tonight, live on KHTS at 6:30pm.
