In girl’s high school volleyball, West Ranch beat Crescenta Valley in three straight.  Canyon defeated Louisville 3 to 1.  Saugus was swept by Simi Valley and Hart lost to Quartz Hill 3 games to 2.

 

At Master’s College, the women’s volleyball team earned their first win of the season with a 3 to nothing shutout over Westmont College.  The women’s soccer team played to a 4 -4 tie against Dominican University. 

 

KHTS will bring you exciting high school football action this Friday night as the Valencia Vikings face the Birmingham Patriots.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30.  Barry McKeever will have the play-by-play at 7:00, right here on KHTS.

 

In Baseball, the season came to an end for the Lancaster Jethawks as they were beaten 14 to 7 in a playoff loss to the Lake Elsinore Storm.  The Angels beat the Baltimore Orioles 10 to 5 to extend their divisional lead to a commanding 9 and a half games.

 

The Dodgers lost 9 to 4 to the San Diego Padres to fall 3 and a half games back in the wild card. The two teams face off again tonight and KHTS will bring you all of the action with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10, preceded by the pre-game show at 6:30.
