The Santa Clarita Christian girls volleyball team opened their season with a 3 to 1 loss to Grace Brethren.

 

For the second straight night, James Loney was the offensive star with 3 hits and 4 RBI’s as the Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres

6 to 3, to pull within 1 and a half games of the wild card. The Dodgers open a very important 3 game series tonight with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

 

There’s a full slate of football action this weekend.  Canyon is on the road to face top ranked, St. Bonaventure.  Saugus hosts Westlake at COC.  Hart plays Bishop Amat at Canyon High. And KHTS will bring you the Valencia Vikings – Birmingham Patriots game live from Valencia High.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30.  Barry McKeever will have the play-by-play at 7:00, on AM-1220 KHTS.

 

Then, on Saturday night the Cardinals of Santa Clarita Christian play at Joshua Springs and West Ranch hosts Corona. Also, the Cougars of COC will host Santa Barbara City College and you can hear all the action on AM-1220 KHTS.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30, with the kickoff at 7.
