Santa Clarita Hometown Sports

 Tim Haddock has been covering sports for newspapers and magazines in Santa Clarita and the Los Angeles area for 20 years. He is an award-winning sportswriter and has written for The Signal, Daily News, Los Angeles Times and Antelope Valley Press among others. He is currently covering motor sports for The Signal. Read his articles every other Friday in the Sports section. He is also a writer for L.A. Parent magazine, and he has developed a popular NASCAR blog; Haddock In The Paddock. Tim graduated from Hart High School, where he was a member of the swim team and academic decathlon team, and Cal State Northridge, where he majored in English. He lives in Saugus with his wife and two boys, Ryan and Eric.
