The Eighth Annual KHTS Washington DC Trip is set to take place in 2018 in an effort to address issues that are affecting the Santa Clarita Valley.

The trip is scheduled for September 24, 2018 through September 27, 2018.

The 2018 KHTS Washington DC Trip will facilitate discussion on a variety of topics that concern the Santa Clarita Valley, including education, business, housing, water, mental health/health care and veterans-related issues.

“This trip is a great opportunity for leaders and neighbors in our community to come to the Nation’s capital and learn about our government and civic process,” said Chris Jusuf, communications director for Congressman Steve Knight. “It is always a pleasure to meet visiting constituents in Washington, DC.”

Organizers are expecting a lively political discussion on the trip, because of how close the event is to the 2018 midterm elections on Nov. 6.
