The City of Santa Clarita would like to inform residents and commuters of lanes closing on Bouquet Canyon Bridge.

 

Beginning at 7:00am on Monday, April 24; lanes of Bouquet Canyon Road at the intersection of Valencia Boulevard will be closed to accommodate construction work on the Bouquet Canyon Bridge.  The lane closures will be in effect from 7:00am to 7:00pm for a period of fifteen (15) business days.

 

During the time of the lane closures, the City will be working closely with the contractor, Banshee Construction, to mitigate any traffic control issues that may arise.

 

The construction work comes as one of the final steps in the Bouquet Canyon Bridge widening project.  The project, which widens the bridge from six to eight lanes, will be completed in June 2006.  A raised median and barrier rail will also be added to the bridge.
