Stargazing Encouraged At National Event Print E-mail
Written by Carol Rock

Learn about the stars and heavens above at library gathering.

If stargazing sounds like something you’d like to do, join fellow astronomers Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at the Valencia Library to celebrate national Astronomy Day.

The afternoon will be filled with speakers on topics ranging from white light, building a telescope and kitchen comets and the question on everybody’s mind, what WILL happen to Pluto?

Night sky viewing will start at sunset, with spectacular views of the moon, Saturn, galaxies and star clusters expected.

The Valencia library is located at 23743 W. Valencia Blvd. Admission is free.
