Brush Fire Up San Francisquito Canyon Road Put Out

Crews battled blaze, now 100% contained.
UPDATED: 8:00 p.m.
A brush fire was reported up San Francisquito Canyon Rd. at about 3:30 p.m.
This occurred in the 35000 block of San Francisquito Canyon road, about 10 miles north of Santa Clarita.
UPDATE: San Francisquito Canyon Road has now been re-opened in both directions by the CHP.
The US Forestry Department took the lead in fighting this fire, alongside LA County Fire crews. The blaze burned 15 acres and was declared knocked down shortly after 7:30pm on Wednesday evening.
