Deputies arrest men who gave liquor to underage drinkers.
Five men were arrested Thursday night in Newhall for drinking in public and furnishing alcohol to minors.
Deputies making a routine patrol check in the area of Arch Street and 3rd Street discovered approximately 15 people drinking on the sidewalk, causing several of them to run into nearby apartments.
Six individual were detained and deputies found several cases of beer and empty bottles. The five men arrested were all suspected of belonging to the Newhall 13 gang.
