I-5 overnight freeway closures have been extended in the Castaic area:
The Northbound I-5 will still be closing Thursday, August 21st and Friday August 22nd.
Below is a list of the new dates the roadway will be closed.
Southbound I-5 freeway closures from 11:59 pm to 5:00 am:

There will be full freeway closures in one direction of the freeway, and 2 lanes in the opposite direction simultaneously.
Southbound I-5 traffic will exit at Hasley Canyon Road, go south on The Old Road to the southbound Route 5 on-ramp, north of Rye Canyon.
Northbound I-5 freeway closures from 11:59 pm to 5:00 am:

The detour for the northbound traffic will
exit at 126 west; south on Commerce Center Drive; east on Henry Mayo Drive; north on The Old Road to the northbound Route 5 on-ramp, at Lake Hughes Road
