Sierra Vista Fitness Center Earns Presidential Recognition

The Sierra Vista Jr. High Physical Education program has won national honors for its excellence.
The President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports selected Sierra Vista as one of only 4 schools in the state to be a Physical Activity and Fitness Demonstration Center.
The honor comes after the school worked hard to outfit its fitness center with the latest technology. Hoping to offer an opportunity for all students to exercise, the center now boasts a rock climbing wall, cutting edge fitness machines, and interactive exercise programs similar to a gaming system.
