On Saturday, from 7:30 a.m.
to 11:30 a.m., a downtown Newhall
parking lot will be converted into a holiday shopping artery.
The sale is being put on by the Single Mothers Outreach, a
local not-for-profit organization that assists families in becoming self sufficient.
Items like clothing, house wares, furniture, jewelry, books,
and holiday ornaments will be for sale at the event, which will be held in the
parking lot behind 24271 Main Street.
The proceeds raised by the sale will go to help create family
emergency funds for the program’s enrollees.
