Bad pick on TV show leads to stabbing.

Two men arguing over the TV channel were split up early Monday morning when one man stabbed the other in the arm.

Joseph O’Malley, 46, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he stabbed a 27-year old man in their apartment on Solemint Canyon Road in Canyon Country.

According to Sgt. Byron Wainie, the men were arguing over what to watch on television and alcohol was involved.

The victim was treated and released from Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

O’Malley is being held at the Santa Clarita station in lieu of $30,000 bail.
