The arraignment for Michael Dean Stephens, who is suspected of murdering Canyon Country resident Josh Pipho in November 2007, was continued until January 7, according to Superior Court sources.

Stephens has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing Pipho several times and running over him with his car. He has also been charged with attempted murder for stabbing Chad Weitz at the same location, a party on Steinbeck Avenue in Stevenson Ranch last Nov. 24.

Stephens has been in custody since Nov. 28, 2007, when he turned himself in at the Lennox sheriff’s station. He is being held at Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, in lieu of $1,500,000 bail.
