At approximately 7:20 p.m., the victim and his girlfriend were walking eastbound near the college when they saw the two men. The woman was allowed to pass, but the two men stepped in front of the male victim, stopping him and making demands in Spanish that the victim did not understand.

One of the men brandished a knife, lunging at the victim’s stomach. Fearing for his life, the victim was able to move backwards and run past the two men, escaping.
