Lockheed Player of the Week - Ben Longshore - December 12, 2006 Print E-mail
Congratulations, Ben Longshore of Canyon High School for being a “Player of the Week”.
During the Canyon High versus Moorpark High game, quarterback Longshore overcame a rough first half to complete 9 out of 12 passes in the second quarter, including two for two and 73 yards in the Cowboy’s fateful final drive.  That drive led to Canyon’s 24-22 victory over the Moorpark Musketeers in Canyon’s second consecutive CIF Northern Division Championship.  The Cowboys will now move on to the State Championship.
Congratulations, Ben Longshore from Lockheed Federal Credit Union, The Signal, and KHTS AM-1220!
For his performance, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will donate $250 to the Canyon High School booster club.
