Congratulations to Michael Herrick of Valencia High School for being selected as a Lockheed Federal Credit Union, “Player of the Week.”

In a game that would see the Valencia Vikings officially win their first Foothill League championship in school history, the junior quarterback was there to lead the way. Herrick completed 20-of-30 passes for 363 yards. He threw for two touchdowns and set up several others by marching the team down the field and giving the running game a chance to score as the Vikings beat Saugus 42-19.

For his production, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will donate $250 to the Valencia High booster club.
