The KHTS Community Resource Station was happy to welcome back our friends from Carousel Ranch.
Executive Director Denise Tomey and Becky Graham were guests on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight show hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by Valencia Acura .
Celebrating their 10th year, Carousel Ranch is a therapy-based program specializing in horseback therapy. Kids with various physical, cognitive and sensory disabilities benefit from this therapy which is recognized by many medical professionals and therapists.
Approximatly 90 kids per week benefit from the physical therapy they receive at Carousel Ranch. Three types of equestrian therapy are offered. Their programs include Vaulting (gymnastics on horseback), English and western riding. This therapy helps to improve stength, coordination and the riders self-esteem. The rider learn to face new challenges which can help them physically and mentally producing favorable improvements in riders of all ages.

Carousel Ranch is a 501-C (3) non-profit organization. Fees are based on the ability to pay. Donations help Carousel Ranch to continue providing this unique therapy.
