Child & Family Center
For the week of October 15, 2007 we were pleased to welcome back the Child & Family Center to the KHTS Community Resource Station. Cheryl Jones and Qiana Staral were featured on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight – hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by Valencia Acura .
Celebrating 30 Years, the Child and Family Center, is the only non-profit community mental health center in the Santa Clarita Valley. They continue to provide mental health, behavioral and educational services to children, adults and families living in Santa Clarita. These services include early intervention, school based and outpatient counseling, drug and alcohol treatment and group home services. Child & Family Center also believes in involving the family in the entire process - which promotes a healthy home environment for all.
The 5th annual “Kid Expo” took place Saturday, October 27th Golden Valley High School. This event is free and has come to be known as a tradeshow for kids, teens and adults.
