On April 18, 2008, KHTS was pleased to welcome back the Child & Family Center to the KHTS Community Resource Station. We featured this organization on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight – hosted by Janice Murray. The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight airs Mondays and Fridays at 10am on AM-1220 KHTS and is sponsored by Providence Holy Cross Health Center.
Celebrating 31 Years in the Santa Clarita Valley, the Child and Family Center, is the only non-profit community mental health center in the SCV - providing mental health, behavioral and educational services to children, adults and families. These services include early intervention, school based and outpatient counseling, drug and alcohol treatment and group home services. Child & Family Center believes in involving the family in the entire process - which promotes a healthy home environment for all.
The 20th Annual ‘Taste Of The Town’ event takes place on Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Man Biomedical Park – 25104 Rye Canyon Loop in Valencia. Proceeds of this event directly benefit the Child & Family Center. For information on this fundraiser, visit www.tasteofthetown.com .
