The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight - hosted by Janice Murray airs on Mondays and Fridays at 10AM on AM-1220 KHTS and is sponsored by Providence Holy Cross Health Center.

The Foundation for Children’s Dental Health, Santa Clarita’s first-ever program is dedicated to providing free dental care, emergency services and oral hygiene education to low-income children and their families in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Since its inception in 1993, over $981,000 in scheduled dental care has been brought to 1082 children and $173,000 of emergency dental care to 346 children. The Foundation has educated over 40,000 preschool students, their parents and elementary school children about the importance of daily oral care and healthy living.

Thanks to Brendie Bandara, Ericka Watson, Gail Winter, Dora Zavala and Kathy Keysor Smith for spending time with us at the KHTS Community Resource Station.
