On February 5, 2007, Los Angeles Retarded Citizens’ Foundation a.k.a. “LARC Ranch” was featured at the KHTS Community Resource Station. Executive Director Kathleen Sturkey and Director Charles Sturkey appeared on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by our friends at Valencia Acura .

 

 

 

 

ImageLARC ranch has a come a long way since its inception in 1959. They have a residential program as well as an adult center - which provides a variety of recreational activities for developmentally disabled adults. They also offer programs that prepare participants to enter the workforce.

LARC is dedicated to helping adults with special needs to thrive by providing a residential program that gives its residents a new sense of purpose and pride.
