On December 17, 2007 AM-1220 KHTS was pleased to welcome LETMESAIL to the KHTS Community Resource Station. Gary Spindt and his guests were featured on the KHTS Non Profit Spotlight Show – hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by our friends at Valencia Acura .

LETMESAIL was founded in 2005 by Don Zennie and Gary Spindt, a father of an adult daughter with intellectual disabilities, who after finishing school at the age of 22, became withdrawn, insecure, lonely, and bored.

Realizing a lack of meaningful social and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities residing in their North Los Angeles community of Santa Clarita, Don and Gary united with other parents to form LETMESAIL.

LETMESAIL provides therapeutic, social, recreational, and educational opportunities for individuals with disabilities (and their family members) enabling them to maximize their potential to lead a more independent, healthy, and enriched quality of life through a wide variety of activities held on-site at its Lifestyle Enrichment Center as well as a myriad of community-based activities.

KHTS thanks Gary Spindt and guests for being with us at the KHTS Community Resource Station.

To find out more about this outstanding organization and upcoming events, visit them on the web at www.letmesail.org or call (661) 702-8555.
