Antonovich Honors Man For 18 Mile Fundraising Swim

Los Angeles County Mayor Michael D. Antonovich and the Board of Supervisors honored, Gary Greenwood, for his 18 mile fundraising swim at Castaic Lake this past October.  The swim helped raise money and support for the Shelia R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital

Mr. Greenwood completed the swim in 7 hours 50 minutes, making him both the first and oldest man to ever swim Castaic Lake ’s perimeter. He is 64.
