Assemblywoman Sharon Runner (R-Lancaster) released this statement Monday evening in reaction to Governor Schwarzenegger’s call for a November 8 special election.

“After 6 months of dealing with obstructionist liberals in the legislature I think Governor Schwarzenegger is doing the right thing – giving the people the opportunity to fix the broken system and secure a strong future for California,” Runner said. “This election is critical for the future of Californians, we need reform now to protect the hardworking families of our state.”
