An anonymous caller phoned-in a bomb threat to the Hyatt shortly after the prayer breakfast ended.  Santa Clarita deputies were unable to find a bomb after responding to the threat around 9:30 am.

Local activists have criticized the Mayor for lending his name to a Christian sponsored event.  Mayor Smyth, himself a Christian, said the morning’s event existed to recognize those of all faiths, and hopes the breakfast will become a staple of the city.
