Chamber Membership Drive A Big Success! Print E-mail

The two day membership drive held by the SCV Chamber of Commerce was a great success. You can tell by the glowing faces of the participants, the upbeat attitude at the after party, and Larry Mankin, President of the Chamber…wearing a dress.

Mankin made a deal with the Chamber members that should they raise $50,000, he would wear a dress. In all, the membership drive raised over that amount, and accumulated 160 new members.

This record of over achievement is hardly something that Mankin could not expect, as last year KHTS’ Sharon Bronson sold the most memberships in the state. Carl Goldman was not far behind, and last year they received the Chamber’s highest award, the title of Godfather and Godmother.
