Children’s Art to be Unveiled at Providence Holy Cross Print E-mail

The “Art of Healing” program, a collaboration between Providence Holy Cross and SCV Arts, and sponsored by KHTS, will reveal new artwork for the Holy Cross Health Center in Valencia on Saturday, November 11th at 10:00am.

Nearly 200 pieces of artwork were collected from student artists in the Sulphur Springs School District.

The theme of the program consists of art’s ability to inspire, transform and heal. The artwork will be hung throughout the center where it will provide additional comfort to cancer patients and others who receive medical services from the new outpatient center.

Students will not only be able to showcase their art in Holy Cross, but they are also competing for scholarships.
