Commission OKs Proposed High-end Shopping Center

Despite its location in close proximity to an earthquake fault line and residents’ concerns about traffic, a local developer has been given the green light to develop a ”high-end” shopping center across from the Bridgeport housing development. Intertex General Contractors is planning to develop a 130,000-square-foot commercial center on 31.75 acres at the northeast corner of Newhall Ranch Road and McBean Parkway.
