The state health department hasn’t yet declared Santa Clarita Valley a “hotspot” for the virus… A Valencia woman found a dead crow near her home Wednesday, & the carcass was picked up to be tested for West Nile virus.  The discovery comes on the heels of three birds found at Valencia Meadows Park that have tested positive for the virus.
