Hart District Still Tackling Race Issues

Preparing to make good on a promise to report all hate crimes on district campuses, Hart school policymakers are reviewing a comprehensive form to track and investigate such incidents.

 Meanwhile, the mother of a Valencia High School student said Friday racial attacks are continuing on the campus.
    Dedra Alabi said hate graffiti aimed at black students was found painted on school property Monday and her daughter was nearly run down in the campus parking lot by a young white male driver. She says officials are still not doing enough to deal with racial tensions at the school.
