A 9-foot-tall fiberglass grizzly bear, representing the largest grizzly killked in California, will be greeting visitors at Valencia Heritage Park when it opens in mid-April…

Artists from Imagine That Studio created the bear for the city’s Art in Public Places program.  The sculpture’s surface is overlaid with photos depicting Santa Clarita’s past and presnet with images from as far back as the 1800s.
